Community Connections Counselor

• Work with lead counselor and support instruction and activities

• Provide behavioral support for campers

• Participate in all required trainings and certifications needed for the program

• Three days pre-camp training

• Online safety trainings mandate by NYS DOH

• Establish a good rapport with campers and lead counselor

• Support lead counselor running clubs

• Take direction from lead counselor and support in set up and take down of equipment and activities

• Learn the daily plans from the lead counselor

• Provide positive behavioral support and praise through the program

• Escort campers to restroom when needed

• Abide by CPP rules and policies
